Fine panel of woodwork or furniture representing St. Elisabeth of Hungary in a niche surmounted by a foliate shell. The young saint is recognizable by her crown, the palm of Martyrdom, and flowers.

Carved in low relief, this panel insist on the sweetness and modesty of the saint especially in the treatment of the face and hands. The calm drapery is inspired by the Antique and show an Italian origin, as does the softness of the modeling, especially on the head and hands. Important religious woodworks, for instance in Venice, use similar panels of saints under large antique-inspired shells.

Lacks, worm holes, some minor restorations. The frame composed of sticks, some partially detached.
