Large XVII th c. bronze Corpus

A brass Corpus of " Christo vivo" typical of French art of the XVII th century, focused on anatomy and conveying a sensible yet measured vision of the Savior's sufferings.

Finely detailed and chiseled hair and beard, as well as the folds of the perizonium, animated by a quiet baroque movement.
