Bozzetto Of An Allegory, Probably Hebe, France Circa 1700

Bozzetto of an allegory in clay, problably Hebe, France circa 1700

Displaying fine technical skills, this bozzetto, or study for a figure of a woman draped all'antica is probably allegoric, standing on clouds, near a vase.
Arms and heads missing make it difficult to identify. The posture is close to Diana figures of the 17 th c. and 18 th c. The vase probably indicate a figure of Hebe.

The thin tunic is close to the body, while the veil is agitated by the wind.

Visible lacks. Heads and arms missing.

Height: 39 cm
